Various kind of transceiver are available ,they are G.703 E1, HDSL/G.SHDSL, Fiber (49M), STM-1 (New Release), the operator can depend on his available transmission media choose any of the transceivers as the transmission of the DLC system.it can work in various topology networks..
SDH
(Synchronous Digital Hierarchy)
SDH defines the features of digital signals such as frame structure, multiplexing mode, transmission rate, and interface code pattern. It provides an international support framework on which global telecommunication transmission networks are flexible, reliable and easy to manage are developed and built. Such transmission network is easy to expand, suitable for launching new telecom services and makes inter-working possible between equipment’s of different manufacturers, which is the long-sought objective of networks builders. SDH transmission network uses Digital Cross-connect Equipment’s (DXC), Add Drop Multiplexers (ADM), Terminal Multiplexers(TM), and Regenerators (REG) to form nodes, and uses large-capacity optical fiber transmission links for connection, creating a network with high flexibility and self-healing capability.
